Dueling divas in the world cyber. Has Lady Gaga left Britney Spears "Speechless"? Britney's reign as Twitter queen has come to an end thanks to fellow pop superstar Lady Gaga, Access Hollywood has confirmed. Nearly three-months after Britney usurped the most-followed Twitter user crown from Ashton Kutcher, the pop singer lost the title to Lady Gaga. On Saturday, Gaga surged into the lead, netting 5,694,147 followers to Brit's 5,685,390 -- a difference of nearly 9,000 users.

The singer broke from her usual "Poker Face" after learning the news, posting a Twitpic of herself with the rock band KISS, and Tweeting, "KISS the Queen," followed by the trending topic, "#GagaTwitterQueen."
As for Britney, her account remained silent, the last message having been posted on Aug. 19, when she visited the set of "Glee."
The battle wasn't a quick one, however. According to People, on Friday there was a back and forth for the top spot on the social networking website. At first, Gaga's "little monsters" (her nickname for her fans), appeared to help the singer "Just Dance" her way into the top spot, but Britney regained the crown "One More Time." On Saturday morning, the "Lucky" singer's luck though, ran out.
Gaga also reportedly leads the "Love Game" on Facebook with more than 16 million friends, beating both Britney and President Obama.
The Twitter "Circus" might not prove to be too "Toxic" for Britney, who may heat up again on the website's "Radar" after her highly-anticipated "Glee" episode debuts on Sept. 28 on FOX.
